I have been a bit preoccupied lately as I have a looming deadline to get the Herculean task of transferring over 10 years of Endicott Studio and Journal of Mythic Arts files from one website to another. Terri and I have had one foot on two platforms for the last five years and it's time to consolidate the archives on one site. It will also potentially set us up should we in the future decide to return to publishing a new version of the Journal. So, it's worth -- a money saver, a chance to clean up the dead links, update art, and author bios, Terri's awesome reading lists and recommendations.
But oh my stars...I am in Code Girl purgatory again. This will be the third time I will have redone the entire site. Third time. (I did the first two with nothing other than "notebook" -- old school, hand coding). But I am determined to get that whole archive into a good, presentable form and with a much easier platform that will make all future changes far less work. So please bear with me...I am not disappearing from the blog (I have a backlog of reviews I want to get out!) but I will be preoccupied like a crazy person with the transfers for another couple of weeks. I will try to pop back here from time to time...but I won't be fully back until I am done with the groundwork of transferring all the files.
What we hope will happen over the next six months -- while the old site is still alive, is that we can slowly acclimate everyone to the new urls and new location of the content -- especially for educators who have used the articles for course work and want to be able to keep on doing so. The over lap should allow Terri and I to edit, clean, and make more beautiful the new rough cut files and everyone to see the new reveals as they are rolled out.
So thanks everyone for your patience! I think when we are done, it will have been worth the wait.
