Here is a gorgeous piece of extraordinary embroidery: "Valentino spring 2014 couture collection- “Le Jardin d’Eden”, a zirconium-colored tulle dress, embroidered in silk threads, with a scene of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden inspired by the painting "Adam and Eve" by Lucas Cranach in 1526, taking 2,200 hours to hand embroider." Oh my stars and callused fingertips, pricked with stabs of a thousand needles. Such an amazing dress indeed.
Yes..those are pheasant feathers stitched into the bark of the tree.
