Working on this lovely sweater for my second granddaughter Lulu due later this year. The pattern is Norwegian Fir and I am using a beautiful soft wool, Rowan Baby Merino (with a bit of cashmere). It's wonderful to knit. (UPDATE: Lulu turned out to be Lou -- what a wonderful surprise for all of us. This little sweater is being carefully stored for the right future occasion.)
A visit to Harper's Ferry (to find out more about John Brown and his ill-fated uprising against slavery) I came across this lovely pair of trees in the deep green woods.
I follow a lot of knitters on Instagram who post beautiful, homey pics with their knitting, tea in fine china cups, a flower tablecloth. But I am knitting dish cloths in camo colors for my guys...so I thought a change of decor was in order.
