I didn't realize until I put some recently washed and almost dried socks together on a chair how much I love a simple sock pattern and a complicated yarn! Many thanks to all the indie dyers who do such beautiful work.

I must say, I really enjoyed knitting these socks from Lollipop Yarns When I see a new skein on their website, I have to be quick to buy ut as they sell out in seconds it seems! I was so happy to have these on my feet for the new year, along with a wee dram of Bowmore Scotch.
